Registering Your Domain Name
Note: You might want to print this page before you click NetNation. You will want to refer to these instructions as you complete the steps.
- Go to NetNation
- Choose "Domain Registration".
- Enter the domain name you want in the left nav bar and click "Check Domain"
- If the domain is available, it will show as checked. Click "Next". If it is not available, search for another domain.
- Choose the currency you will be paying with
- Choose the number of years you want to register the domain for (you will have the opportunity to renew when the registration period is coming to an end).
- Choose "No, I would like to check out now." (DKSi will take care of the hosting and email accounts for your domain).
- Select "Business" for the type of customer and click "Next".
- Enter your contact/billing information and click "Next".
- Enter you payment information and billing address. Click "Next".
- Review your contact, billing, and registration information as well as the Registration Agreement and Terms of Use. Click "Place Order".
- You will be assigned a username for managing your domain. Enter a password for your account and choose a "secret question" in case you forget your login information. After you submit, your login information will be sent to your email address.
- Be sure to print out your Order Confirmation page for your records.
- You will receive an email from NetNation with server information. Please forward that email to support@dksinteractive.com
Now that you have registered your domain, DKSi will set up the hosting and help you set up your email addresses.
